Camden Market this weekend was a land of riches when it came to the knot. Yes, I might have looked a bit crazy falling ladies around with my camera...but look at the great knots in attendance!

Knot Enough Time to do my Hair

I will be taking my life in my hands as I venture out into the jungle that is London to obtain these precious pictures. For example - the one woman below looks a bit rough. But I was stealthy enough to snap a quick (sadly blurry) picture of a decent top knot example.

My photography skills will improve as we go along - I promise!

All Knotted Up

Since moving to London...I have become obsessed - completely. obsessed...with the urban phenomenon known around the UK as the London Top Knot. Obviously the idea of putting your hair up in a bun is not universal to the UK (or London) - however the London Top Knot has a certain...something extra. That special spot - right at the TOP of the head - with a certain special messiness...there's just no others like it.

To get us started - one of my early attempts. It's getting there - but not nearly high enough or "messy" enough. More to come!
